TMV Servicing

TMV’s are valves that blend hot & cold to prevent the risk of scalding at an outlet. The blended temperature of the water may provide an environment for legionella proliferation and can increase the risk of exposure, therefore it is important to compare the risk of scalding to legionella exposure prior to installation.

If you have TMV’s installed on your system then they should be regularly serviced in line with the manufacturers recommendations.
